“A Voice In the Wilderness” is the newest album by The City of Light. TCoL Chief Architect, Mike Gorman, recorded these country-folk songs in the depths of 2020.

Each song is a short story, taking place in an imagined small city somewhere between the Texas Hill Country and Galilee. Taking cues from authors like Raymond Carver and Sherwood Anderson, Gorman has created a world with working folks struggling and losing, loving and triumphing; all in small ways, each and every day.
